Ways To Clean A Shower Curtain
There are some things that you can do to make your shower curtain last you longer. There are certain little helpful and handy hints that are designed to keep your bathroom looking clean.
Because the shower curtain is always exposed to water moulds usually form on it. One thing that you can do is to remove the curtain maybe once every two or three days and hang it out in the sun. It will get a chance to dry out completely and the sun will get rid of the germs and bacteria.
Another option is to wash your curtain whenever you do your laundry or more regularly if need be. The thing is in addition to your normal laundry detergent you can add a cup of vinegar and a cup of any bleaching agent. Throw in some white towels and load the machine to its usually capacity, if it still does not fill to capacity.
Do not use hot water to wash the curtain as it might melt or possibly shrink in size. When you are done washing hang it out in the sun to dry, do not throw it in the dryer as it might get damaged.
